The Tarlac State University community celebrates the first 100 days in office of University President Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza, who assumed leadership on May 6, 2026.

Guided by his DALAN Framework, Pres. Mendoza has set in motion initiatives toward a more future-ready, inclusive, and responsive TSU, anchored on excellence in instruction, impactful research, transformative extension, and sustainable production.

During his first 100 days, Pres. Mendoza's major accomplishments include launching SMILE TSU (Spread Meaningful Interactions, Light Up Everyone in TSU), which promotes discipline, respect, courtesy, and accountability. He also started initiatives on cashless payment systems, digital transformation, securing additional land for the university, as well as strengthening partnerships with partner institutions and advancing inclusive education.

Moreover, he successfully secured financial assistance for employees and educational scholarships from local government units, while expertly leading the university's hosting of the 2026 SCUFAR III Sports and Cultural Festival.

Beyond TSU, Pres. Mendoza continues to foster collaboration among state universities and colleges in Central Luzon as Chairperson of the Development Council of State Universities and Colleges Region III / Center for Interinstitutional Research and Policy Studies (DC-SUC III/CIRPS).

As TSU moves forward under the DALAN Framework, may these first 100 days mark the beginning of a shared journey toward a university that is not only future-ready but also excellent, inclusive, people-centered, and committed to meaningful public service.

Congratulations on your first 100 days, Pres. Mendoza!
May TSU continue to rise forward with you.
